MedScapeIndia-AMET Organises 6th FIT INDIA Conclave 2023
The 6th Fit India Conclave 2023, orchestrated by MedScapeIndia-AMET, has spotlighted the significance of preventive healthcare and access to vital health information. One of the standout features of the conclave was the promotion of nationwide CPR training. Given India’s burden of cardiovascular diseases, this initiative paves the way for increased survival rates in emergency scenarios.
In an effort to secure a safer work environment for healthcare professionals, the conclave proposed a Bill for the Prevention of Assault on Doctors. As instances of violence against doctors have been rising alarmingly in recent years, this proposed legislation could serve as a turning point in safeguarding the rights and well-being of medical practitioners.
The conclave also unveiled the Girl Child Anthem, underscoring the importance of focusing on all sections of society in the journey towards Health4All. The initiative showcases a commitment to the well-being of India’s girl children, often overlooked in health discourse, reaffirming MedScapeIndia’s commitment to inclusive healthcare.
Shri Lakshman Prasad Acharya, the Honorable Governor of Sikkim, applauded the efforts of Team MedScapeIndia. His words serve as a call to arms, reminding us all that the push for a healthier, fitter India is a collective responsibility. In its 6th edition, the Fit India Conclave stands as a testament to the power of unity in advancing the nation’s health agenda.
