Empowering Hyderabad Joggers: Arrhythmia Awareness and AED Donation Drive by CSI Telangana and Vigocare
The Cardiology Society of India (CSI) and Vigocare initiated a remarkable event on June 14th, 2023, at the Botanical Garden in Kondapur, Hyderabad, aiming to raise awareness about cardiac rhythm disorders and the role of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs). Sri Arekapudi Gandhi Garu, MLA from Serilingampally, Hyderabad, graced the event, highlighting its significance in fostering public health.
The day was marked by Sri Arekapudi Gandhi Garu’s powerful address on the need for cardiac health awareness. The baton was then passed to Dr. Ramachandra, Senior Consultant Cardiologist and President of CSI Telangana, who captivated the audience with his detailed talk on arrhythmias. The emphasis on early diagnosis resonated with the audience, reinforcing the message about the urgency of timely detection and treatment.
A standout moment of the event was CSI Telangana’s donation of four AEDs, highlighting the necessity of these devices in public spaces.
