BHT Strengthens Team with CMO Dr. Pamela Peeke and New Board Members

Bone Health Technologies (BHT) has welcomed Dr. Pamela Peeke as the company’s new Chief Medical Officer and board member. The San Francisco-based innovator in bone health and disease prevention also appointed Dr. Kian Beyzavi and Marcie Hamilton as new board directors. The addition of these talented professionals will reinforce BHT’s position as a leader in treating osteoporosis and osteopenia.

BHT CEO Laura Yecies is thrilled about Dr. Peeke’s appointment, lauding her expertise in women’s health, menopause, and longevity. As a clinical scientist and Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Maryland, Dr. Peeke’s experience aligns with the company’s vision for a safe, non-pharmacological, clinically-proven solution for individuals with low bone density.

Dr. Kian Beyzavi, who joins the board alongside Dr. Peeke, has a PhD in Electrical Engineering/Applied Physics from Princeton University. With her work focusing on dynamic data, AI, and machine learning, Dr. Beyzavi has contributed significantly to the development of various MedTech, Digital Health, and Biopharma products across 60 companies.

Marcie Hamilton, another new board director, brings expertise in medical devices and consumer products. With a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, Hamilton co-founded Potrero Medical and was instrumental in the development of a predictive technology platform for early detection of critical illnesses.

The addition of these skilled professionals highlights BHT’s commitment to advancing osteoporosis and osteopenia treatment. The expanded team will help enhance the company’s product development, research, and commercial growth.
