Signia’s Groundbreaking Campaign to Transform Hearing Health Perception

This month marks the launch of Signia’s groundbreaking campaign, aimed at transforming the public’s perception of hearing loss and advocating for widespread ear and hearing care. In line with the “Changing mindsets: Let’s make ear and hearing care a reality for all” theme of this year’s World Hearing Day, Signia’s initiative is a bold move to address the critical issue of untreated hearing loss in India, where societal stigma and lack of awareness prevent many from seeking necessary care.

“Too often, individuals neglect their hearing health due to societal misconceptions and stigma surrounding hearing aids,” highlighted Avinash Pawar, CEO and MD of WS Audiology India. Through the #HearTheChange campaign, Signia is executing an array of educational activities, leveraging social media platforms, and engaging directly with communities to drive home the importance of timely action on hearing loss.

The campaign’s strategy includes mobilizing a diverse network of partners to challenge and change the prevailing narratives around hearing aids and hearing care. By doing so, Signia is leading the charge towards a society where the importance of hearing health is recognized, and the stigma attached to hearing aids is eradicated.
